As Quality Control Manager Abin, based in Shenzhen, will be working with the quality control teams in China to increase our capacity out in the field and to work together with us on the long term quality improvement projects we run for our customers.  Abin, a Hong Kong native, has over 20 years of experience from working in China, Taiwan and South East Asia and has a wide knowledge of products but has a specialization the in plastic molding industry. Gekko is thrilled to get the expert help in the field of plastic molding and CNC machining. Abin is a trained CSR compliance auditor and with his wide industrial and technical knowledge he covers the full spectrum of GQSL’s services .Abin speaks English, Mandarin and Cantonese. Rickard Paulsson is a welcome addition to further strengthen our Gekko team and to help us secure that our growing customer base is being supported by assigned project managers.  Rickard holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Lund University and spent a year on an academic exchange in Hong Kong. With a broad academic knowledge base ranging from physics and mechanics to supply chain management he works both in our head office as out in the factory on assignments. As a step in our commitment to increase our competence and knowledge within the area of CSR, the staff of GQSL has passed a five day SA8000 course. The course, certified by IRCA, provided a good insight into SA8000, the audit process and tools and techniques to be used. The focus was practical with a lot of case studies, as the aim was to prepare the delegates for conducting social accountability audits.

Newbody, a client of GQSL since a couple of years back, has been awarded the title Growth Company of the Year 2009. This is an award that Business Region Göteborg assigns each year to a company who has shown both growth and business ideas worth given attention.
